FAQs

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about the Ogden Pride Festival:

When is the next Ogden Pride Festival?

The 8th annual festival will be held on Aug. 7, 2022.

Where will the Ogden Pride Festival be held?

We will once again hold the festival at the Ogden Amphitheater & Municipal Gardens on Historic 25th Street between Washington and Grant.

How much are tickets to the Ogden Pride Festival?

This is a FREE event!

Will there be an Ogden Pride Parade?

For the time being, we are not able to hold a parade. We know you really want one, and so do we. It takes a great deal of work to put on the festival, so if you want to get involved to help us add a parade to the festival plans, get involved! Perhaps in the future as we grow as a community in Ogden, we will be able to have one. Trust us, we want one. We just only have so many hands and could always use yours to help push for so much more!

Is Sunday the only event during the Ogden Pride Festival?

No. In fact, we have two events leading up to the festival this year.

Friday is Community Dinner & Drag Bingo being held at No Frills Diner
Doors at 6pm Cost $15 for dinner and your first bingo card $5 each additional board
We’ll have prizes and opportunity drawings

Saturday is A FUNNYraising Evening with Suzanne Westenhoefer
a benefit show for Ogden Pride for 21+ being held at Ogden’s Own Amphitheater
Doors 7 pm $50 in advance $65 at the door

Will alcohol be sold or served at the Ogden Pride Festival?

Yes! For those 21+ who would like to enjoy a beer or cocktail, we have an awesome team who will be providing these services. Be prepared to have your ID scanned, and know you will be required to wear a wristband indicating you’re of age to hold that cold one.

Are pets welcome at the Ogden Pride Festival?

Yes, in fact, our Pet Parade & Fashion Show has becomes one of the most popular activities at the festival. Ogden city ordinances apply: well-behaved pets are welcome but they must be leashed. Owners must clean up after their pets. We plan to have a pet relief station with shade, a “kiddie” pool and water bowls. We even have vendors who are focused on providing things for your loved fur family!

What do you mean by “family friendly”?

This event is going to be a place for the WHOLE family to come together in celebration and love! Behavior and exhibits that are obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic or indecent are not allowed. So please bring your kids, your nieces/nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles, grandparents, grandchildren — EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Do you have COVID safety plans?

Yes, we request that if you are experiencing symptoms, have been exposed within 5 days of the festival, and/or testing positive for COVID-19, that you stay home this year and rest. We endorse the science behind vaccines and encourage you to attend if you are fully vaccinated if possible.

We have touch free sanitation stations throughout the festival grounds, and masks are available at the Ogden Pride Booth for your convenience. We ask that you respect others’ ways of coping with this, and respect space. We want everyone to enjoy the day, and hope that our efforts help control the spread of this horrible disease.
